Champlain Valley Family Center’s Recovery Campus (CVFC-RC) provides Stabilization and Rehabilitation services in a Residential setting in Schuyler Falls, NY. This is an Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) certified program. The facility has 16 beds to serve men and women, age 18 and older, who have an identified substance use disorder and are in need of a more intensive level of care. It is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week program with full time medical and clinical staff supervision.  To make a referral to the CVFC Recovery Campus call (518) 643-0148.   • Medication Assisted Treatment
  • Individual and Group Counseling
  • Educational Lectures
  • Recreational Activities
  • Life Skills
  • Leisure Skill Activities
  • Yoga, Mindfulness, and Stress Management
  • Family Therapeutic Sessions
  • Vocational and Educational Counseling
  • Psychiatric Evaluation and Medication Management
  • Comprehensive Discharge Planning

These individuals can be referred from outpatient treatment programs, hospitals, legal entities, family members, themselves, or other community agencies.

Champlain Valley Family Center's community center is a stigma free, safe setting that is not only for individuals, but their families and the community. All Ways to Recovery is a centralized location to provide education and guidance on: accessing health care coverage, advocacy services, connection to treatment services, local health care providers, self-help programs, education and/or employment, and developing healthy leisure skills.

The community center is located at 14 Dormitory Drive (former site of the CCC Dining Hall).


Our staff will be joined by local community volunteers.


Supervisor of MRT/PSH Housing Program

Tommy started working in the field as a Recovery Coach in 2013 at CVFC.  He earned his AAS in Human Services in 2014 and attained a BS in Social Work in 2016. Tommy Is a Credentialed Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) and Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA). He serves as the Housing Counselor/Supervisor at CVFC.
