A Step Forward

Intensive Family Support Program (IFSP)

The Intensive Family Support Program (IFSP) is a youth case management program.  Our Youth Specialists advocate for, and work with, “at risk” adolescents and families in the community. The program goal is to prevent youths from being placed outside of the home.  Youth Specialists facilitate positive experiences for the youth and their family, and engage in a variety of activities and community service projects.

Champlain Valley Family Center's community center is a stigma free, safe setting that is not only for individuals, but their families and the community. All Ways to Recovery is a centralized location to provide education and guidance on: accessing health care coverage, advocacy services, connection to treatment services, local health care providers, self-help programs, education and/or employment, and developing healthy leisure skills.
